Amelie leads Afloat with a clear vision: to accelerate investment in ocean and nature technologies and help shape a regenerative global economy. An economist and former Canadian and British diplomat, she has spent the past decade contributing to the growth of leading technology ecosystems across Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, and internationally. With extensive experience working alongside venture capital firms and late-stage companies in fintech, AI, ocean, and nature-tech, she brings a global perspective and deep understanding of innovation-driven markets.
